1 frying chicken, skin removed if you want lower fat. I leave the skin on. 3 teaspoons Lawry has Seasoned Salt 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped 1 cup all purpose flour 1 cup vegetable oil. Season chicken with all seasonings. Roll chicken in flour until covered. Shake off excess flour. Sprinkle additional seasoning. Simply fry chicken in frying pan until golden brown. I like it crispy so I cook it a little longer than most. You can start out with the oil very hot and then reduce it later. This seals in the moisture and flavor, then cooks it. The Guatemalan Chicken Mole: chocolate is something that everyone loves; however, not everyone knows that chocolate makes a wonderful ingredient when it is mixed with chicken. The Guatemalan chicken mole is simply a sauce that is made from chocolate and eaten on chicken. Chicken in itself is a very healthy ingredient and when it is paired with other ingredients such as avocado, garlic, and even chocolate can provide you with a very healthy chicken recipe and it makes cooking chicken fun and delicious.
Place the chicken (size according to requirements) on a large piece of heavy duty tinfoil. Sprinkle a packet of dehydrated soup all over the chicken. (If it is a very large chicken a little extra soup may be needed.) Any spicy soup will do. Brown onion soup is also very good. Place a peeled onion inside the chicken. Wrap the chicken in the tinfoil and place in a pre-heated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 hours until done. Serve the chicken as you would any roast chicken. As there is not really a lot of gravy I do not usually serve this chicken with rice but rather with potatoes and vegetables.
